I provide medication management to people of all ages, from children to geriatric. My focus is working with clients to better themselves through medication management. I hope that I can help clients gain and maintain control of their lives in the best way possible.

I offer an integrative approach to treating all of my patients. My main focus is working with clients to help them with their stress management, grief, and trauma. I have worked with clients from all different backgrounds with many different mental health needs.

Garnelle (Gigi) Florez has been in the nursing field for over 35 years, starting as an LPN in gerontology. She then returned to nursing school gaining her bachelor’s degree in Nursing from the University of Nebraska College of Nursing in 1996. She worked at the Veterans Hospital on the chemical treatment program, and this is where her passion for mental health was discovered. In 1997 she began working at an inpatient, acute care hospital that treated ages 5 to the geropsychiatry population. She has worked in many roles within the nursing world. After working with some of the best psychiatrists in Nebraska, she decided to advance her education once again obtaining her Master of Nursing degree specializing in psychiatric medicine. In May of 2021 she graduated from Walden University. She then earned her board certification in August. Gigi and her husband, Tom, have 10 children and 23 grandchildren. Spending time with family is always a priority.
