Most of us, from time to time, need help navigating life's challenges. Fear, grief, trauma, anxiety, depression and many other obstacles can keep people tied to old patterns and ineffective coping strategies. My approach to therapy is based on a collaborative therapeutic relationship designed to help people identify goals and overcome challenges at their own pace. Using evidence-based treatment models, I work with children, adolescents, adults, families, parents, and couples. I have worked in a variety of settings, ranging from businesses to probation groups as well as domestic violence advocacy to private practice.
I realize it can be difficult to get to know if a therapist is "right" for you based on a brief bio online. I invite you to call me for a free phone consultation to see if I am a good fit for your treatment needs.
I have specific training and experience in the following: EMDR; Circle of Security; Play Therapy and Filial Therapy Techniques; Sexual Assault Response Training; Sex Offending Behavior; Bridges Out of Poverty; NABITA Violence Prevention on College Campuses; and, Neuroscience and Mindfulness.
