Kelsey Krieger, LIMHP

Kelsey graduated from the University of Nebraska at Kearney with her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She is a provisionally licensed mental health practitioner and a National Certified Counselor.

Kelsey has worked as a recovery specialist in an acute mental health care facility for the past three years, which has allowed her to work with a variety of diagnoses, including severe and persistent mental illness. Kelsey sees youth and adolescents ages 10 and up, adults, couples, and families. During her internship at a college counseling center, Kelsey gained experience and knowledge working with a wide variety of populations in many areas, including depression, anxiety, adjustment, and relationships. She also has experience and interest working with the LGBTQIA+ population. Kelsey’s approach to counseling uses techniques and strategies from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution-Focused Therapy and has a strength-based perspective in her treatment style.

In her spare time, Kelsey enjoys spending time with her cat, traveling, bike riding, and is a color guard instructor for an area high school marching band.
