What is sex therapy? Sex therapy is a specialized form of counseling for individuals or couples that focuses on sexual issues. In therapy, we will try to find the contributing factors (physiological and psychological) to sexual dysfunction and/or sexual communication problems and resolve them. In addition, we can find a way to make the challenges you may face have less of an impact on your life and your sex life.

Philosophy of sex therapy:
When an individual or couple presents with sexual concerns, I give attention to treating the person as a whole, rather than addressing just the sexual problem. This holistic approach to healing includes addressing the physical/biological, emotional/psychological, relational and spiritual aspects which can affect sexuality. Collaboration with health care providers, including pelvic pain specialists, provide a complete approach for sexual and emotional healing.
